Letter from ARUCAD MUN TEAM
We are proud to announce our upcoming Model United Nations (MUN) conference, which we aim to host with the participation of 150 delegates. MUN, short for Model United Nations, is an academic simulation where participants assume the role of country representatives and engage in debates within the framework of real UN committees. Over the course of three days, delegates will work collaboratively to address and propose solutions to pressing global issues, adopting the perspective of their assigned nations.
As ArucadMUN, we are committed to fostering diplomatic dialogue by bringing together high school and university students from esteemed institutions across the country. Our platform offers participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on contemporary global challenges within a formal, rules-based setting.
The committees and agenda items for our upcoming conference are as follows:
UN Women,
The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, known as UN Women, is dedicated to advocating for gender equality and women’s rights globally. It supports member states in establishing laws, policies, and programs that ensure women's participation in political and public life. In MUN simulations, this committee addresses pressing gender-related issues with a focus on inclusivity, empowerment, and systemic change.
